Branches Bearing Fruit

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:1-4

Like a Window


Today I am giving my husband away to the Lord. He is being ordained a priest. May God bless his ministry and may he decrease to self that the Lord might increase.

Lord, please clean the glass of his soul that your light shines clearly through him and you receive all credit. Whatever you have in store for us, please strengthen us to meet every challenge you allow to come our way and let us witness your work in the people around us.

Amen
