Branches Bearing Fruit

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:1-4

New Covenant vs. Old Covenant

I believe that Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant
Heb 9:15
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
I believe that God keeps the old covenant forever and ever (everlasting).
1 Chr 16:15-17
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Even when some are unfaithful to it (he keeps a remnant).
2 Kings 19:29-31
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof. And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
I don't believe Jews HAVE to accept the new covenant, it
Hebrews 8:13 KJV
waxeth and grows old, is ready to vanish away;
but as long as they keep it, remaining faithful to it (because faith is credited as righteousness), it is still around.

From my point of view, the Jews are waiting for someone who has already arrived, they just didn't recognize Him. When we all face Him in heaven and God himself says, "I am HE" then we will all know the Truth. I know that Jesus said the only way to the Father is through Him, but the only way the Holy Spirit lights upon us is through Him, so if you have the Holy Spirit and the fruit of your life reflects that, you have Jesus. If Jews are glorifying God with their fruit (works), then they have Jesus, they just don't realize it. God knows their hearts, just like he knows ours. Whoever follows His commandments (love one another as I have loved you) and show it through the fruit of the spirit giving glory to God, loves Jesus.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' "
The Father will judge those that deny Jesus
John 12:47-50
"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."
Jesus judges us because we put ourselves into the covenant of his blood. Their covenant is with the Father, ours is with the Son.
Romans 11:28-32
"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery brothers, so that you may not be conceited. Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins."
As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all."

I am sure there are others who do not read the Bible to mean what I read it to say, but that is my understanding of scripture.

God bless
